Chestertown Police

THEFT. PFC Brandon McGinnis, on Aug. 1, took a report of shoplifting in the Washington Square shopping center. 

MDOP. A 15-year-old female, on Aug. 5, was referred to the Department of Juvenile Services on a complaint of malicious destruction of property. The offense is alleged to have occurred in the 100-block of Philosophers Terrace.

FTA. Willie Jermaine Brothers, 29, Chestertown, on Aug. 5, was served four district court bench warrants for failure to appear in court.  He was released on personal recognizance.

ASSAULT. Melissa Marie Bones, 52, Chestertown, on Aug. 9, was served a district court summons for second-degree assault.

Daniel David Bones, 65,  Chestertown, on Aug. 9, was served a district court summons for first-degree assault; and two counts of second-degree assault. 

Lauriea Diane Johnson, 39, and Felisha Marie Warrelmann, 30, both of Chestertown, on Aug. 14, were served district court summonses for second-degree assault.

Two females, ages 15 and 17, on Aug. 15, were referred to the Department of Juvenile Services on a complaint of assault.

The offenses are alleged to have occurred Aug. 8 in the 100-block of Birch Run Road. 

THEFT. Chief Ron Dixon, on Aug. 12, took a report of theft in the 300-block of Calvert Street.

BURGLARY. Officer Ryan Thompson, on Aug. 13, took a report of burglary in the Washington Square shopping center. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is ongoing.

FRAUD. PFC Eric Nunez, on Aug. 15, took a report of fraud in the 100-block of Manor Avenue. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is ongoing.

HARASSMENT. Alexis Michelle Roduik, 25, Worton, on Aug. 16, was served a district court summons for harass: a course of conduct. The offense is alleged to have occurred in the 300-block of Calvert Street.

THEFT. Lacy Kaye Morris, 35, Millington, on Aug. 21, was served a district court summons for theft, $100 to less than $1,500. The offense is alleged to have occurred Aug. 12 in the 800-block of Washington Avenue.

THEFT. Lacy Kaye Morris, 35, Millington, on Aug. 21, was served a district court summons for theft, $100 to less than $1,500; and second-degree assault. The offenses are alleged to have occurred Aug. 12 in the 600-block of Washington Avenue. 

 

Kent County Sheriff

FTA. Susan Bliss Knotts, 62, Chestertown, on Aug. 14, was served a district court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. She initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.

FTA. Charles Lawade Livingston, 24, Dover, Del., on Aug. 15, was served a Queen Anne’s County District Court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. He was released on his own recognizance by the district court commissioner.

FTA. Kristina Anne Serrano. 47, Federalsburg, on Aug. 15, was served a circuit court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. She initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.

THEFT. Deputy Levi Manning is investigating an Aug. 15 theft of power tools from a work van in the 12000-block of Galena Road, Massey. The complainant estimated the value of the tools to be $2,100, according to a sheriff’s office news release.

FUGITIVE. Kenneth Antonio Staten, 57, Baltimore, on Aug. 18, was charged with being a fugitive from justice from the state of Colorado. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center awaiting extradition.

THEFT. DFC Wayne Baker is investigating an Aug. 18 theft of a Yamaha all-terrain vehicle from the 31000-block of River Road, Millington. According to a sheriff’s office news release, the ATV, valued at $4,000, was located by the Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office and subsequently returned to its owner.
