THEFT. PFC Brandon McGinnis, on Aug. 6, took a report of theft in the 600-block of Washington Avenue. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is ongoing.
COUNTERFEIT. PFC Eric Nunez, on Aug. 6, took a report of counterfeit money being passed in the 100-block of Philosophers Terrace. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is ongoing.
FRAUD. PFC Meera Srinivasan, on Aug. 9, took a report of fraud (false pretenses) in the 24000-block of Chestertown Road. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is ongoing.
INDECENT. PFC Meera Srinivasan, on Aug. 29, responded to the 500-block of Washington Avenue for a report of indecent exposure. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is ongoing.
THEFT. Nehemiah Elijah James Williams, 30, Chestertown, on Aug. 29, was served a district court summons for theft, $100 to less than $1,500. The offense is alleged to have occurred Aug. 24 in the 200-block of Calvert Street.
THEFT. Tiasha Monique Walker, 39, Chestertown, on Sept. 2, was charged with theft, less than $100. The offense is alleged to have occurred in the 700-block of Washington Avenue.
THEFT. Connor Joseph Schultz, 18, Chestertown, on Sept. 2, was served a summons for theft, $100 to less than $1,500. The offense is alleged to have occurred Aug. 12 in the 300-block of Calvert Street.
THEFT. Tynisha Denee Jackson, 38, Chestertown, on Sept. 4, was served a summons for theft, less than $100 (five counts). The offenses are alleged to have occurred Aug. 1 in the Washington Square shopping center.
DISORDERLY. Loretta Johannah Channell, 51, Chestertown, on Sept. 7, was served a citation for disorderly conduct. The offense is alleged to have occurred in the 600-block of Washington Avenue.
Kent County Sheriff
PROBATION. Dashawn Chavez Lister, 26, Millington, on Sept. 3, was served a circuit court bench warrant for violation of probation. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.
FTA. Alana Jarae Simons, 23, Millington, on Sept. 3, was served two circuit court bench warrants for failure to appear in court. She initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.
MDOP. Deputy Tyler Baitsholts is investigating a Sept. 3 report of damage to a vehicle — broken window — in the 6700-block of Quaker Neck Road, Chestertown.
FTA. Desmond Christian Carroll, 31, Baltimore, on Sept. 3, was served a circuit court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.
PROBATION. Nehemiah Elijah James Williams, 30, Chestertown, on Sept. 5, was served a circuit court bench warrant for violation of probation. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.
FTA. Tamara Gayneta Smith, 40, Harrington, Del., on Sept. 6, was served a circuit court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. Smith was served while in the Queen Anne’s County Detention Center, where she remained without bond.
ASSAULT. Sgt. Nick Watson is investigating a Sept. 7 reported assault in the 24000-block of Lambs Meadow Road, Worton. According to a sheriff’s office news release, two people reported being assaulted by a known suspect.
ABUSE. Sgt. Nick Watson is investigating a Sept. 8 report of abuse of a toddler in the Worton area.
ASSAULT. Deputy Shane Steppe is investigating a reported “mutual” assault Sept. 8 in the 100-block of North Main Street, Galena. According to a sheriff’s office news release, the parties involved were referred to the district court commissioner’s office if they wished to pursue criminal charges.
