Kent County Sheriff

FTA. Peter James O’Brien, 58, no fixed address, on Oct. 23, was served a district court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. He was released after posting bond.

FTA. Roshayla Brittney Miller, 32, Chestertown, on Oct. 24, was served three circuit court body attachments for failure to appear in court. She initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond on each body attachment.

According to a sheriff’s office news release, while Miller was being served the warrants, she was found to be in possession of a suspected controlled dangerous substance that is not cannabis (to wit: methamphetamine) and CDS paraphernalia. She was served citations for these offenses.

BURGLARY. Paul Douglas Gsell, 62, Galena, on Oct. 25, was served a Cecil County District Court arrest warrant charging him with fourth-degree burglary (two counts); and malicious destruction of property, having a value less than $1,000. He was released to the Cecil County Sheriff’s Office.

ASSAULT. Cody Richard Kendall, 28, Rock Hall, on Oct. 27, was served a district court arrest warrant charging him with first-degree assault; second-degree assault (two counts); and reckless endangerment. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.

STALKING. Jackson Woodrow Ridgeway, 19, Chestertown, on Oct. 28, was served a district court arrest warrant charging him with stalking; harass, a course of conduct; and harass, electronic communication. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.

 

Chestertown Police

THEFT. PFC Meera Srinivasan, on Oct. 1, took a report of shoplifting in the 800-block of High Street. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is continuing.

MDOP. Linneria Taylor, 21, Betterton, on Oct. 4, was served a summons for malicious destruction of property, having a value less than $1,000. The offense is alleged to have occurred Oct. 3 in the 400-block of Morgnec Road.

ASSAULT. Brandon Jamar Jameison Phillips, 31, Chestertown, on Oct. 11, was charged with second-degree assault; disorderly conduct; disturbing the peace; and intoxicated, endanger. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bail. The offenses are alleged to have occurred in the 400-block of High Street. Officer Ryan Thompson made the arrest.

BURGLARY. PFC Eric Nunez, on Oct. 14, took a report of a burglary in the 100-block of Elm Street. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is continuing.

THEFT. Daphne Lyn Floyd-Miller, 40, Preston, on Oct. 15, was served a district court summons for theft, $100 to less than $1,500. She was released on personal recognizance. The offense is alleged to have occurred in the 300-block of Cedar Street.

ASSAULT. A 15-year-old female, on Oct. 16, was referred to the Department of Juvenile Services on a complaint of assault. The offense is alleged to have occurred in the unit block of Cutter Crossing. PFC Brandon McGinnis investigated.

THEFT. Latoya C. Rogers, 31, Chestertown, on Oct. 18, was served a district court summons for theft, $100 to less than $1,500. She was released on personal recognizance. The offense is alleged to have occurred Sept. 29 in the 100-block of Flatland Road.

MDOP. A 15-year-old female, on Oct. 23, was referred to the Department of Juvenile Services on a complaint of malicious destruction of property. The offense is alleged to have occurred in the unit block of Cutter Crossing. PFC Brandon McGinnis investigated.
