Kent County Sheriff

COMPLY. Nehemiah Elijah James Williams, 30, Chestertown, on Nov. 13, was served a circuit court bench warrant for failure to comply. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.

ASSAULT. Deputy Shane Steppe is investigating a reported assault Nov. 15 in the 32000-block of River Road, Millington. According to a sheriff’s office news release, the complainant reported that they were assaulted by a known suspect, causing an eye injury.

COMPLY. Daman Demond Graves, 48, Millington, on Nov. 15, was served a circuit court bench warrant for failure to comply. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.

ASSAULT. Beth Taylor Sissom, 67, Millington, on Nov. 16, was served a district court summons for second-degree assault. She was released after signing the summons.

ASSAULT. Troy Leonus Somerville Sr., 52, Worton, on Nov. 16, was charged with first- and second-degree assault; and malicious destruction of property, having a value less than $1,000. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond. The offenses are alleged to have occurred in the 26000-block of Big Woods Road, near Worton. Lt. Scott Duhamell investigated.

DRUGS. Katherine Adele Mansfield, 40, Easton, on Nov. 17, was served a circuit court arrest warrant charging her with drug-related offenses including possession of a narcotic with intent to distribute. She initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.

FTA. Courtland Quincy Goldsboro, 36, Chestertown, on Nov. 18, was served a district court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. He was released on an unsecured bond.

 

Chestertown Police

THEFT. Officer Travis Burke, on Oct. 26, took a report of a theft in the 700-block of Washington Avenue.

THEFT. PFC Eric Nunez, on Oct. 29, responded to Washington Square shopping center for a reported theft.

THEFT. Officer Ryan Thompson, on Oct. 31, took a report of a theft in the 100-block of S. Cross St. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is active.

THREATS. PFC Eric Nunez, on Nov. 2, took a report of threats — violating a protective/peace order — in the 100-block of Flatland Road.

THEFT. Charles Antoine Freeman Jr., 41, Chestertown, on Nov. 7, was served a district court summons for theft, less than $100. The offense is alleged to have occurred on Oct. 23 in the Washington Square shopping center. PFC Eric Nunez investigated.

THEFT. David Michael Tillery Jr., 34, Millington, on Nov. 8, was served a district court summons for theft, less than $100. The offense is alleged to have occurred Oct. 23 in the Washington Square shopping center. Cpl. Brandon McGinnis investigated.
