THEFT. PFC Meera Srinivasan is investigating a reported shoplifting Dec. 29 in the 600-block of Washington Avenue.
DISORDERLY. PFC Meera Srinivasan, on Dec. 29, responded to the 600-block of Washington Avenue for a report of a disorderly person. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is active.
THEFT. Tanyanika N. Cain, 48, Worton, on Jan. 1, was served a district court summons for theft, $1,500 to less than $25,000.
Kent County Sheriff
FTA. Erica Anita Reeves, 38, Millington, on Jan. 7, was served a Queen Anne’s County District Court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. She was released by the district court commissioner on an unsecured bond.
ASSAULT. Cody Richard Kendall, 28, Rock Hall, on Jan. 7, was served a circuit court arrest warrant charging him with first-degree assault; second-degree assault (two counts); and reckless endangerment. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.
THEFT. Sgt. Nate Blazejak is investigating a Jan. 10 report of someone using the bank account of the Kent County Detention Center to commit a theft. According to a sheriff’s office news release, a suspect has been identified.
THEFT. Gerald Christian Bearden, 74, Chestertown, on Jan. 10, was served a district court summons for theft, $1,500 to less than $25,000. He was released after being served the summons.
THEFT. Cpl. Jordan Proudfoot is investigating a reported theft Jan. 10 in the 200-block of Sassafras Street, Millington. According to a sheriff’s office news release, the complainant reported knowing the suspect. Loss is estimated to be more than $200.
FTA. Aaliyah Danasha Graves, 23, Chestertown, on Jan. 11, was served a district court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. Graves was released by the district court commissioner on her own recognizance.
FTA. Tyray Lamar Valentine, 43, Chestertown, on Jan. 11, was served two district court bench warrants for failure to appear in court and two circuit court bench warrants for failure to appear in court.
According to a sheriff’s office news release, during service of the warrants Valentine allegedly resisted arrest and after being taken into custody, he attempted to escape.
On Jan. 13, Valentine was served a district court arrest warrant charging him with second-degree escape; resist/interfere with arrest; obstructing and hindering; disorderly conduct; and failure to obey a reasonable and lawful order. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond on these additional charges.
FTA. Kuerbanjiang Baikeli, 47, Arlington, Va., on Jan. 13, was served a Queen Anne’s County District Court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. Baikeli was released by the district court commissioner on his own recognizance.
FTA. Richard Lamont Bowser Jr., 24, Easton, on Jan. 13, was served a circuit court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.
PROBATION. Spencer Clifton Geiser Dole, 33, Chestertown, on Jan. 13, was served a Montgomery County Circuit Court bench warrant for violation of probation. He was released to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
