MDOP. PFC Eric Nunez, on Jan. 6, responded to the 400-block of High Street for a complaint of malicious destruction of property. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is active.
THEFT. David Lawrence Grant, 45, Chestertown, on Jan. 7, was served a district court summons for theft, less than $100. The offense is alleged to have occurred Dec. 31 in the 800-block of Washington Avenue. PFC Travis Burke investigated.
FTA. Travis Jerise Pollard, 33, Newark, Del., on Jan. 8, was served a district court bench warrant for failure to appear in court on traffic charges. He was released on his own recognizance.

THEFT. Lamont Dervon Kennard, 41, Chestertown, on Jan. 14, was served a district court summons for theft of another’s credit card; charging on another’s credit card (eight counts); theft, less than $100 (five counts); and conducting a theft scheme, $100 to less than $1,500 (three counts). He was released after signing for the summons.
THEFT. Lacy Kaye Morris, 36, Millington, on Jan. 14, was served a district court summons for theft, less than $100. She was released after signing for the summons.
PROBATION. Cameron D. Mills, 33, Chestertown, on Jan. 14, was served a circuit court bench warrant for violation of probation. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.
ASSAULT. Joel Patrick Anderson, 48, Rock Hall, on Jan. 16, was served a district court arrest warrant charging him with home invasion; robbery; armed robbery; burglary; first- and second-degree assault; reckless endangerment; and theft, $100 to less than $1,500. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.
FTA. Dennis Eugene Black, 44, Baltimore, on Jan. 16, was served a circuit court body attachment for failure to appear in court. He was released after posting a cash bond.
FTA. Ronaldo Hernandez Ortiz, 22, Warwick, on Jan. 16, was served a district court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. He was released by the district court commissioner on his own recognizance.
FTA. A 16-year-old from Chestertown, on Jan. 17, was served two circuit court body attachments for failure to appear in court. The teen initially was held without bond and turned over to the Department of Juvenile Services.
BURGLARY. A 13-year-old male from Kennedyville, on Jan. 19, was referred to the Department of Juvenile Services on a complaint of burglary of a dwelling in the 11000-block of Kennedyville Road. Deputy Shane Steppe investigated.
FTA. Isaac Kareem Ransom Bullard, 25, Chestertown, on Jan. 20, was served a district court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. He was released by the district court commissioner on an unsecured bond.
