COMPLY. Andre Mikael Cudanin, 31, Baltimore, on Jan. 22, was served a circuit court bench warrant for failure to comply. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.
THEFT. Jeffrey Dean Boulden, 37, Galena, on Jan. 24, was served a district court summons for theft, $100 to less than $1,500; conducting a theft scheme, $100 to less than $1,500; and fraud, identification information theft, $100 to less than $1,500. He was released after being served the summons.
PROBATION. Tre Lamar Kennard, 30, Chestertown, on Jan. 26, was served a circuit court bench warrant for violation of probation. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.
FTA. Laron Damar Jeff, 44, Worton, on Jan. 27, was served a Caroline County District Court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. He was released by the district court commissioner on his own recognizance.
Chestertown Police
FRAUD. Officer Ryan Thompson, on Jan. 4, responded to the 700-block of Washington Avenue for a possible fraud. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is active.
BURGLARY. Cameron Daevon Mills, 33, Chestertown, on Jan. 5, was charged with third- and fourth-degree burglary; second-degree assault (three counts); affray (three counts); intoxicated public disturbance; malicious destruction of property, value more than $1,000; intoxicated endanger; and reckless endangerment. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond. The offenses are alleged to have occurred in the area of Schooner Way. PFC Meera Srinivasan investigated.
THEFT. David Lawrence Grant, 45, Chestertown, on Jan. 8, was served a district court summons for theft, less than $100. He was released on personal recognizance. The offense is alleged to have occurred Dec. 26 in the 400-block of High Street.
FRAUD. Lt. Steve Linz, on Jan. 10, took a report of fraud in the 300-block of Washington Avenue. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is active.
FTA. Kendra Andrea Johnson, 24, Chestertown, on Jan. 15, was served bench warrants for failure to appear in court on charges of disorderly conduct; intoxicated public disturbance; and failure to obey a reasonable and lawful order. She was released on personal recognizance.
FRAUD. Cpl. Chris Schwink, on Jan. 15, took a report of fraud in the 100-block of North Queen Street. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is active.
WEAPON. Melvin J. Wilson Jr., 44, Chestertown, on Jan. 16, was charged with concealing a dangerous weapon; and disturbing the peace/disorderly. He was released on his own recognizance. The offenses are alleged to have occurred in the 100-block of Scheeler Road. According to a CPD news release, PFC Eric Nunez and Cpl. Chris Schwink initially responded for a report of found property.
