Chestertown Police

THEFT. Laday Shamae Taylor, 31, Chestertown, on Jan. 17, was served a district court summons for theft, $100 to less than $1,500. She was released on her signature.

THEFT. Jasmine Elizabeth Jones, 28, Worton, on Jan. 22, was charged with attempted theft. She was released on her signature. The offense is alleged to have occurred in the 100-block of Scheeler Road. Officer Ryan Thompson, Lt. Steve Linz and Chief Ron Dixon responded for a dispatch of a theft in progress.

THEFT. PFC Travis Burke is investigating a reported shoplifting Jan. 30 in the 700-block of Washington Avenue.

FTA. Amanda Marie Wilson, 42, Rock Hall, on Jan. 30, was served a district court bench warrant for failure to appear in court on traffic charges. She was released on personal recognizance.

MDOP. PFC Eric Nunez and Cpl. Chris Schwink, on Feb. 4, took a report of a malicious destruction of property incident in the 200-block of Calvert Street. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is active.

 

Kent County Sheriff

ASSAULT. Sgt. Travis Manning is investigating a reported assault Feb. 5 in the 33000-block of Lee’s Chapel Road, near Galena. According to a sheriff’s office news release, the complainant reported being assaulted by a known suspect.

THEFT. Chandra Michaela Warren, 56, Massey, on Feb. 5, was served a district court summons for unlawful taking of a motor vehicle. She was released after signing for the summons.

ASSAULT. Cheyenne Lee Blockston, 21, Chestertown, on Feb. 6, was served a district court summons for second-degree assault (two counts); disorderly conduct; and failure to obey a reasonable and lawful order. She was released after signing for the summons.

PROBATION. Gregory Allen Wersten, 37, Baltimore, on Feb. 7, was served a circuit court bench warrant for violation of probation; and a district court arrest warrant charging him with failure to comply. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond on both warrants.

PROBATION. Reginald Andre Sisco, 71, Rock Hall, on Feb. 10, was served a district court bench warrant for violation of probation. He was released on a $500 cash bond.

ASSAULT. Cpl. Mike Piasecki is investigating a reported assault Feb. 10 in the 23000-block of Baywood Court, near Fairlee. According to a sheriff’s office news release, the complainant reported being assaulted by a known suspect who left the area prior to the arrival of deputies.
