Chestertown Police

ASSAULT. Ezekiel Sanders, 54, Chestertown, on Feb. 26, was served a summons for second-degree assault. The offense is alleged to have occurred in the 200-block of Morgnec Road. Cpl. Chris Schwink investigated.

FRAUD. Officer Ryan Thompson, on Feb. 26, took a report of a fraudulent check in the 100-block of Spring Avenue. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is active.

FRAUD. PFC Travis Burke, on March 7, took a report of fraud in the 500 block of N. Kent Street. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is active.

FTA. Travon Edward Harding, 29, Chestertown, on March 8, was served a district court bench warrant for failure to appear in court on March 7 for a theft charge. Bond initially was set at $5,000. On March 11, Harding was released after posting $200 cash bond.

ASSAULT. PFC Travis Burke, on March 8, took a report of an assault in the 400-block of Morgnec Road. According to a CPD news release, the suspect and alleged assailant are known to each other. The case remains open.

 

Kent County Sheriff

MDOP. Raymond Costanzo, 44, Worton, on March 4, was served a district court summons for malicious destruction of property, having a value of more than $1,000. He was released after signing for the summons. 

FTA. Brandon Cordell Corbett, 36, Worton, on March 4, was served a circuit court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. 

FTA. Mark Edward Barto, 68, Chestertown, on March 4, was served a circuit court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.

TRAFFIC. Zachary David Schultz, 34, Worton, on March 5, was served an Anne Arundel County District Court summons for driving without a license and related offenses. He was released after signing for the summons.

THEFT. Tiasha Renee Brown,  41, Worton, on March 5, was served a Queen Anne’s County District Court summons for theft, $100 to less than $1,500. She was released after signing for the summons. 

THEFT. DFC Wayne Baker is investigating a reported theft March 5 in the 8000-block of Georgetown Road, near Fairlee. According to a sheriff’s office news release, the complainant estimated the loss at $2,000.

FUGITIVE. Agmere Q. Matthews, 33, Dover, Del., on March 7, was served a district court arrest warrant for being a fugitive from the state of Delaware. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.
