Chestertown Police

FTA. David Michael Tillery, 35, Millington, on March 12, was served a district court bench warrant for failing to appear in court on theft charges. He was released on personal recognizance.

FRAUD. Cpl. Brandon McGinnis, on March 12, took a report of fraud in the 100-block of Adela Way. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is continuing.

DISORDERLY. Kendra Andrea Johnson, 24, Chestertown, on March 18, was charged with disorderly conduct; resist, interfere with arrest; failure to obey a reasonable and lawful order; disturbing the peace; and intoxicated public disturbance. She was released on personal recognizance.

The offenses are alleged to have occurred in the 100-block of Elmer T. Hawkins Drive, where PFC Eric Nunez, Cpl. Chris Schwink and Lt. Steve Linz had responded in reference to a check the welfare of a juvenile, according to a CPD news release.

 

Kent County Sheriff

MDOP. DFC Wayne Baker is investigating a complaint of malicious destruction of property in the 21000-block of Fithian Drive, Rock Hall, that was reported March 11. According to a sheriff’s office news release, the incident occurred March 1 when someone caused damage to freshly poured concrete adjacent to a residence. Loss is estimated to be $1,000.

THEFT. Sgt. Phil Trinks is investigating a reported theft of money from a bank account with a Millington address. The suspect is known, according to a sheriff’s office news release.

FTA. Charles Keith Butler Jr., 21, Galena, on March 12, was served a Queen Anne’s County District Court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. He was released on his own recognizance by the district court commissioner.

DRUGS. David Michael Tillery, 35, Millington, on March 12, was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance that is not cannabis (to wit: fentanyl); and possession of CDS paraphernalia. Tillery was found to be in possession of suspected CDS while being served a bench warrant for failure to appear in court. He was released into the custody of the Chestertown Police Department for service of the warrant. Cpl. Parker Hudson investigated.

DRUGS. Keyontray Daniel Johnson, 29, Chestertown, on March 13, was served a circuit court arrest warrant charging him with possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute; possession of more than 10 grams of marijuana; possession of a controlled dangerous substance that is not marijuana; and possession of CDS paraphernalia (two counts). He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond; on March 17 he was released after posting unsecured personal bond of $5,000.

THREAT. Lt. Sean Maloney is investigating a March 13 report of threats made toward a staff member of the District Court for Kent County. According to a sheriff’s office news release, the suspect is known.

THEFT. Lacy Kaye Morris, 36, Millington, on March 15, was served a district court arrest warrant charging her with theft, $100 to less than $1,500 (two counts); and theft of a credit card. She was released on her own recognizance by the district court commissioner.

PROBATION. Marquis Lamar Waters, 30, Millington, on March 16, was served a circuit court bench warrant for violation of probation. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond; on March 18 he was released after posting unsecured personal bond of $10,000.
