Chestertown Police

DISORDERLY. Two females, ages 15 and 16, were referred to the Department of Juvenile Services on complaints of assault, disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace, and a 15-year-old male was referred on a complaint of malicious destruction of property following investigation of a reported disturbance March 12 in the area of the 100-block of Elmer T. Hawkins Drive. PFC Travis Burke investigated.

ABUSE. PFC Meera Srinivasan, on March 19, took a report of alleged physical child abuse. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is active.

BURGLARY. Richard Joseph O’Neil, 29, Chestertown, on March 19, was charged with burglary: fourth-degree store. He was released on personal recognizance. The offense is alleged to have occurred in the 100-block of Philosophers Terrace. PFC Meera Srinivasan investigated.

ASSAULT. Two 13-year-old females and a 15-year-old female, on March 22, were referred to the Department of Juvenile Services on a complaint of assault. The offense is alleged to have occurred in the 100-block of Philosophers Terrace. PFC Travis Burke investigated.

ABUSE. Officer Ryan Thompson, on March 24, took a report of alleged physical child abuse. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is active.

FRAUD. Lt. Steve Linz, on March 26, took a report of fraud in the 800-block of Washington Avenue. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is active.

EXPOSURE. PFC Travis Burke, on March 26, took a report of indecent exposure in the area of Philosophers Terrace and Campus Avenue. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is active.

UNAUTHORIZED USE. PFC Travis Burke, on March 27, took a report of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle in the 400-block of Calvert Street. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is active.

ASSAULT. PFC Travis Burke, on March 27, took a report of an assault in the 200-block of Maple Avenue. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is active. 

 

Kent County Sheriff

FTA. Kayla Nishae Miller, 24, Chestertown, on March 18, was served a circuit court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. She initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond. On March 19, she was released on a $200 cash bond.

PROBATION. Travon Edward Harding, 29, Chestertown, on March 19, was served a circuit court bench warrant for violation of probation. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.

FTA. Eugenio Chung Perez, 24, Chestertown, on March 21, was served three Queen Anne’s County District Court bench warrants for failure to appear in court. He was released by the district court commissioner on a $7,500 unsecured bond. 

FTA. Tyrel Donta Dean, 40, Galena, on March 22, was served a circuit court body attachment for failure to appear in court. Bail initially was set at $400.

FTA. Roshayla Brittney Miller, 32, Chestertown, on March 24, was served a district court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. According to a sheriff’s office news release, Miller was found to be in possession of a suspected controlled dangerous substance and CDS paraphernalia when the warrant was served. She initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center on the bench warrant by the district court commissioner, and served citations for possession of CDS-not cannabis (to wit: cocaine) and possession of CDS paraphernalia. 

PROBATION. Tre Lamar Kennard, 30, Chestertown, on March 24, was served a circuit court bench warrant for violation of probation. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.

PROTECTIVE ORDER. Matthew Beau Haigis, 31, Chestertown, on March 24, was served three district court warrants for violation of a protective order. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond. On March 26, he was released on an unsecured personal bond of $5,000.
