Chestertown Police

RESIST. Kendra Andrea Johnson, 24, Chestertown, on March 18, was charged with resist, interfere with arrest (three counts); failure to obey a reasonable and lawful order (three counts); and disturbing the peace/disorderly. She initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond. On March 24, she was released after posting $1,000 unsecured personal bond. The offenses are alleged to have occurred in the 300-block of Roosevelt Drive. PFC Meera Srinivasan investigated.

THEFT. PFC Meera Srinivasan, on March 30, took a report of a theft in the Washington Square shopping center. According to a CPD news release, the investigation is active.

DISTURBANCE. A 16-year-old female, on April 1, was referred to the Department of Juvenile Services on complaints of disorderly conduct; and assault. The offenses are alleged to have occurred in the 800-block of Washington Avenue. PFC Eric Nunez investigated.

 

Kent County Sheriff

FTA. Martin Donaldo Castillo, 27, Galena, on March 25, was served a district court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. He was released on personal recognizance by the district court commissioner.

FTA. Nytre Nickael Green, 24, Chestertown, on March 26, was served a circuit court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.

ASSAULT. Sgt. Nick Watson is investigating a reported assault March 26 in the 10000-block of Foreston Road, near Chestertown. According to a sheriff’s office news release, the complainant reported being assaulted by a known suspect.

PROTECTIVE ORDER. Sgt. Scott Lockerman is investigating a reported violation of a protective order March 26 in the 10000-block of Foreston Road, near Chestertown.

FTA. Courtland Quincy Crawford-Goldsboro, 36, Chestertown, on March 27, was served a circuit court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.

DRUGS. Davon Carter, 44, Baltimore, on March 28, was served a district court arrest warrant charging him with possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute; possession of contraband in a place of confinement; possession of a controlled dangerous substance that is not cannabis; and possession of CDS paraphernalia. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.

ASSAULT. Deputy Shane Steppe is investigating a reported assault March 31 in the 8800-block of Georgetown Road, near Fairlee. According to a sheriff’s office news release, the complainant reported being assaulted by a known suspect.

BURGLARY. Cpl. Dave Nolan is investigating a reported burglary and theft April 1 in the 600-block of Morgnec Road, Chestertown. According to a sheriff’s office news release, someone broke the glass from an exterior door and removed power equipment. Loss is estimated to be between $1,500 and $25,000.

FTA. Glenn E. Slayton, 64, Dover, Del., on April 2, was served a district court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. He was released on his own recognizance by the district court commissioner.

PAROLE. Travon Edward Harding, 29, Chestertown, on April 4, was arrested on a Maryland Parole Commission parole retake warrant. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.

FTA. Raymond Costanzo, 44, Worton, on April 4, was served a district court bench warrant for failure to appear in court. He was released on a $5,000 unsecured bond by the district court commissioner.

ASSAULT. Mallory Kevin Winstead Jr., 35, Chestertown, on April 5, was served a district court arrest warrant charging him with second-degree assault; violating a protective order; and electronic communication harassment. He was released on a $5,000 unsecured bond by the district court commissioner.

THEFT. Sgt. Travis Manning is investigating an April 7 theft/fraud complaint in the 21000-block of Montgomery Avenue, near Chestertown. According to a sheriff’s office news release, the complainant reported that more than $15,000 was electronically transferred from his bank account.
