Proceeds of Sultana gala support environmental literacy programs for area students

CHESTERTOWN — Sultana Education Foundation’s annual gala is Saturday, May 9 at Clovelly Farm near Chestertown. There will be live music performed by Sound Society Band, creative catering from Jeff Carroll, an open bar and presentations highlighting the SEF’s years of work with students of all ages.

The event celebrates Sultana Education Foundation’s mission of fostering environmental stewardship and immersive, hands-on learning experiences through Chesapeake Bay education.

Gala proceeds directly support SEF’s educational initiatives, allowing students to engage in experiential learning focused on ecology, history and sustainability.

“Our annual gala is more than just a celebration. It’s a vital opportunity to invest in the next generation of environmental leaders,” said Sultana Education Foundation Executive Director Drew McMullen.
