CHESTERTOWN — Motorists in downtown Chestertown on Tuesday morning, Nov. 25 were part of the convoy as Santa’s house made the short commute from the town yard on Cannon Street, navigating the narrow roadway on Mill Street and then turning onto High Street headed to Fountain Park, where Jolly Old St. Nick will hold limited office hours over the next couple of weekends.
Santa will make his first appearance in Chestertown on Friday night, Nov. 28 aboard a Chestertown Volunteer Fire Company truck at the conclusion of the holiday parade that kicks off at 5:30 p.m. He will take up residency in his Fountain Park house until about 8 o’clock that night, and then return on Saturdays, Nov. 29, Dec. 6, Dec. 13 and Dec. 20, from 10 a.m. to noon each day.
Every child will receive a gift bag from Santa, courtesy of Twigs & Teacups.
