CHESTERTOWN — Beverly and Bill Schauber celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary with family and friends at the Chestertown Elks Lodge on Saturday, Aug. 29. Some who attended the party traveled from as far away as New York City.
The couple married in Elkton on Aug. 29, 1956.
They have four children: Allan, William Jr., Kim and Gary.
The Schaubers are lifetime residents of Kent County.
Bill retired as a groundskeeper for the State of Maryland and Beverly as an employee of LaMotte Chemical.
