ROCK HALL — Ivette Martinez Ayala is the recipient of this month’s Kent County Public Schools’ Golden Anchor Award. She was applauded for her hard work and dedication, especially with multilingual families.
Martinez Ayala, an instructional assistant, received her award from the Kent County Board of Education at its Dec. 9 meeting.
Director of Human Resources Dan Hushion announced Martinez Ayala as the Golden Anchor recipient.
“We are fortunate to call her a team member, and the unique difference she makes is recognized and commended,” Hushion read from the nomination letter.
