KCPS’ Family Support Center to host free community resource fair

WORTON — Kent County Public Schools’ Family Support Resource Center is hosting its fourth annual community resource fair this month at Kent County High School, located at 25301 Lambs Meadow Road in Worton.

The family event will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 23 in the high school’s gym, known as Trojan Arena.

There is no cost.

This is an opportunity for parents, caregivers and community members with children in both Kent and Queen Anne’s counties to meet and learn more about local organizations.


Representatives from state and local government agencies, nonprofits, service providers, school programs and advocacy groups will be on-site.

They include: Maryland ABLE, Kent County Parks and Recreation, Kent County Department of Social Services, The Arc Central Chesapeake Region, Division of Rehabilitation Services, The Parents’ Place of Maryland, Kent County Health Department (multiple departments), Maryland Coalition of Families, Seedco/Maryland Health Connection, Crossroads Community Inc., Corsica River Mental Health,
Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Open Doors Partners in Education, Recovery in Motion, Upward Bound at Chesapeake College, Discovering Serenity Counseling Services,  Judy Center at Garnet and Rock Hall elementary schools, Healthy Families Mid-Shore, The Benedictine School, Kent County Public Schools’ Infants and Toddlers Program, Mid Shore Behavioral Health, Rebuilding Together Kent County, Maryland Youth Leadership Forum, NAMI-National Alliance on Mental Illness for Kent and Queen Anne’s counties, Wraparound Maryland and Kinera Foundation.

Registration ahead of time is not required, but is preferred.
