CHESTERTOWN — Angela Alsobrooks, the Democratic candidate for Maryland’s open U.S. Senate seat, will visit downtown Chestertown on the morning of Thursday, July 18. She will conduct “meet-and-greet sessions” in several locations, according to a news release from the Democratic Club of Kent County.
Alsobrooks will start at the Port of Chestertown Marina in the parking lot adjacent to the Cerino Center at 9:30 a.m., and walk along Cannon and Cross streets, talking with residents and visiting shops along the way.
At 11 a.m. she is scheduled to arrive at Phat Daddy’s BBB Shack, 205 Spring Ave. She also will stop at Big Mixx’s Beautiful Beginnings Unisex Salon, which is located nearby.
“The public is invited to come out and meet the candidate and learn more about her priorities at any of these locations,” the news release states.
