WORTON — Kent County High School’s girls basketball program honored its seniors Thursday, Jan. 11 at halftime of the game against North Dorchester.

The honorees were escorted by family to center court as their biographies were read.

They are: shooting guard Jaylin Butler, whose career goal is to become a doctor; shooting guard BreAsia Jackson, whose career goal involves travel nursing and the U.S. Army; manager Abra Hynson, whose career goal is to become a trauma social worker; and manager Kamryn Murray, whose career goal is to become a speech language pathologist.

Kamryn already has been accepted into Jackson State University in Mississippi, a highly ranked Historically Black College or University (HBUC).

By the way, the Trojans won Thursday’s game handily, 38-18. Jaylin and BreAsia were among the five starters.
