WORTON — Junior shortstop Tanner Beck, who bats third in the order, holds the ball that cleared the left field fence at Spry Field for a grand slam in Kent County’s 17-run third inning April 18 against Crisfield. 

In the third inning alone, Beck batted three times. After striking out to lead off, he doubled and homered, scored two runs and drove in six runs.
