No snow yet

BOGLES WHARF — The winter storm warning for Saturday ended up being more of a fizzle in the drizzle as cold rain fell throughout the day in Kent County and many parts of the state.

More than an inch dropped at BWI Marshall Airport (Baltimore) throughout Saturday evening, according to the National Weather Service.

Overcast skies gave way to sunshine on Sunday and temperatures were well above freezing.

The forecast for Monday, Jan. 8 is mostly sunny with high temperatures in the mid-40s, followed by windswept rain on Tuesday with the potential of flooding.
