Chestertown Police 

CHESTERTOWN — Phillip Shawn Murphy, 58, Chestertown, on March 10, was charged with driving on suspended license and privilege; driving, attempting to drive while license is suspended; driving without required license and authorization; unsafe backing; and failure to control speed to avoid a collision.

PFC Meera Srinivasan investigated the crash at 8:45 p.m. in the 100-block of Dixon Drive.

CHESTERTOWN — Macario Juan Ibera Ibera, 20, Chestertown, on March 13, was charged with knowingly driving an uninsured vehicle; and driving without required license and authorization. He also was served 12 payable traffic citations.

PFC Brandon McGinnis conducted the traffic stop at 8:51 p.m. on Maple Avenue.

CHESTERTOWN — Lori Elizabeth Ridgely, 60, Rock Hall, on March 14, was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol; driving while impaired by alcohol; driving while impaired by a controlled dangerous substance; driving while so far impaired that she cannot drive safely; reckless driving; displaying expired registration plate; driving a vehicle without current registration plates and validation tabs; and failure to equip vehicle with required red stop lamp visible from a distance of not less than 300 feet.

PFC Travis Burke conducted the traffic stop at 2:49 p.m. in the 800-block of High Street.

CHESTERTOWN — Ja’merrre Amon Walker, 20, Chestertown, on March 17, was charged with driving, attempting to drive while impaired by a controlled dangerous substance; driving, attempting to drive while so far impaired that he cannot drive safely; driving, attempting to drive while under the influence of alcohol per se; and negligent driving.

PFC Eric Nunez conducted the traffic stop at 8:40 p.m. in the 100-block of Cross Street at Park Row.

CHESTERTOWN — Jason Nathaniel Seago, 41, Chestertown, on March 28, was charged with driving without required license and authorization; failure to display license to uniformed police on demand; and a seat belt violation.

He also was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance that is not cannabis [to wit: methamphetamine]; and possession of CDS paraphernalia.

PFC Brandon McGinnis conducted the traffic stop at 1:22 a.m. on High Street at Morgnec Road.

 

Kent County Sheriff

CHESTERTOWN — Luke Nicholas Fiorilla, 21, Downingtown, Pa., on March 22, was charged with driving while impaired by alcohol; driving while under the influence of alcohol; and driving while under the influence of alcohol per se. He was released on personal recognizance.

According to a sheriff’s office news release, Fiorilla was charged after he allegedly performed poorly on standardized field sobriety tests.

Sgt. Scott Lockerman conducted the traffic stop on state Route 291.

CHESTERTOWN — Donte Lamonte Emory, 35, Queenstown, on March 22, was charged with driving while impaired by alcohol; driving while under the influence of alcohol; driving while under the influence of alcohol per se; driving while so far impaired that he cannot drive safely; negligent driving; exceeding posted maximum speed, 49 mph in a posted 30-mph zone; and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway when required. 

According to a sheriff’s office news release, Emory was charged after he allegedly performed poorly on standardized field sobriety tests.

Sgt. Scott Lockerman conducted the traffic stop at 10:44 p.m. on Morgnec Road at Hadaway Drive.

According to the news release, during a search incident to Emory’s arrest, Sgt. Lockerman located a suspected controlled dangerous substance that is not cannabis [to wit: cocaine]. Emory was charged on a criminal citation.
