CHESTERTOWN — Johnny Curtis Taylor, 60, Chestertown, on May 22, was charged with driving while impaired by alcohol; driving while under the influence of alcohol; and driving while under the influence of alcohol per se.
He also was charged with failure to drive on the right half of the roadway when required.
He was released on personal recognizance.
PFC Travis Burke conducted the traffic stop at 10:30 p.m. on Washington Avenue at Morgnec Road.

CHESTERTOWN — Michael William Kobb, 22, Chestertown, on May 30, was charged with driving while impaired by alcohol; driving while under the influence of alcohol; and driving while under the influence of alcohol per se.
He also was charged with negligent driving; and stopping vehicle in an intersection.
Officer Pedro Rodriguez conducted the traffic stop at 4:37 a.m. on North Cross Street at Maple Avenue.

CHESTERTOWN — Lori Ann Brothers, 56, Church Hill, on June 6, was charged with failure to display and reflect red color light on rear lamps and reflectors as required; failure to display license to uniformed police upon demand; driving, attempting to drive without required license and authorization; driving while license is suspended; and driving on suspended license and privilege.
PFC Meera Srinivasan conducted the traffic stop at 12:04 a.m. in the 300-block of Washington Avenue.

CHESTERTOWN — Alejandro Benito Gomez Mendez, 29, Church Hill, on June 9, was charged with failure to display license upon demand of uniformed police officer; driving without required license and authorization; driving on suspended license and privilege; and driving in violation of restricted license requirement.
PFC Eric Nunez conducted the traffic stop at 9:07 p.m. in the 100-block of Maple Avenue.

GALENA — Two juveniles were airlifted to Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore by a Maryland State Police helicopter and two other juveniles were transported to University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Chestertown for treatment of injuries suffered in a single-vehicle crash May 28 on southbound Golts Road, north of state Route 299.
They were passengers in a 2020 Kia that was driven by Destini Love Paul, 31, Townsend, Del. The vehicle traveled off the road and struck a utility pole, causing disabling damage to the vehicle, according to a sheriff’s office news release.
Paul was charged with failure to control vehicle speed to avoid a collision; driving, attempting to drive without required license and authorization; driving on suspended out-of-state license; driving on revoked license; failure to secure child under age 8 in child safety seat; and failure to secure child under age 2 in a rear-facing child safety seat.
The vehicle was towed from the scene.

CHESTERTOWN — Patrick Ryan McColigan, 25, Earleville, on June 1, was charged with driving while impaired by alcohol; and driving while under the influence of alcohol.
He also was charged with passing in a no-passing zone; and exceeding the posted maximum speed limit, 65 mph in a 50-mph zone.
He was released on personal recognizance.
