CHESTERTOWN — Mishaad Travon Jones, 35, Chestertown, on July 14 was charged with driving while impaired by a controlled dangerous substance; driving while so far impaired that he cannot drive safely; and displaying an expired registration plate.
He also was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance that is not cannabis [to wit: fentanyl]; and possession of CDS paraphernalia.
Jones was released on personal recognizance.
PFC Travis Burke conducted the traffic stop at 6:14 p.m. in the 300-block of Maple Avenue.

CHESTERTOWN — Luis Raul Colon Perez, 49, Chestertown, on July 30 was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance that is not cannabis [to wit: oxycodone]; possession of a controlled dangerous substance that is not cannabis [to wit: cocaine]; and possession of CDS paraphernalia.
He was released on personal recognizance.
Cpl. Parker Hudson conducted the traffic stop on Airy Hill Road.
According to a sheriff’s office news release, Cpl. Hudson reported that he observed suspected CDS in “plain view” and subsequently conducted a probable cause search.
