KENNEDYVILLE — Nikolai Francis Pytryga, 36, Chestertown, on Aug. 6 was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol; driving while under the influence of alcohol per se; driving while impaired by alcohol; and driving, attempting to drive while so far impaired by alcohol that he cannot drive safely.
He also was charged with negligent driving; reckless driving; and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway when required.
Pytryga was released on his own recognizance.
DFC Wayne Baker conducted the traffic stop at 10 p.m. on Augustine Herman Highway at Vansants Corner Road.
DFC Baker reported that during the roadside interview, he observed “indicators of impairment” from Pytryga.
According to a sheriff’s office news release, Pytryga allegedly performed poorly on standardize field sobriety tests.
Chestertown Police
CHESTERTOWN — Guy Michael Dugan, 68, Wayne, Ill., on Aug. 3 was charged with driving, attempting to drive while under the influence of alcohol; driving, attempting to drive while under the influence of alcohol per se; driving, attempting to drive while impaired by alcohol; and driving, attempting to drive while so far impaired that he cannot drive safely.
He also was charged with negligent driving; failure to display registration card upon demand of a police officer; and failure to maintain posted minimum speed limit on authority highway.
Dugan was released on personal recognizance.
Officer Karyn Harris conducted the traffic stop at 9:26 p.m. on High Street at Cross Street.

CHESTERTOWN — Stefan Alexander Officer, 33, Chestertown, on Aug. 6 was charged with driving without required license and authorization; driving on suspended license and privilege; and driving while license is suspended.
Officer Travis Burke conducted the traffic stop at 8:16 p.m. on Morgnec Road at Washington Avenue.

CHESTERTOWN — Harvey Thomas Bowers, 61, Chestertown, on Aug. 10 was charged with failure to drive on the right half of the roadway when required; operating an unregistered vehicle; failure to display registration card upon demand; failure to display a license; driving without current registration plates and validation tabs; driving while license is suspended; and displaying registration plate issued to another vehicle.
He was released on personal recognizance.
PFC Travis Burke conducted the traffic stop at 12:11 p.m. in the 300-block of Washington Avenue.
