ROCK HALL — Kaitlyn Ann Riley, 23, and Michael Quille Harper Jr., 36, both of Chestertown, on Dec. 14, were charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance that is not cannabis (cocaine); and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Riley also was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance that is not cannabis (fentanyl).
DFC Colin Rhodes conducted the traffic stop on Tolchester Road.
The driver was not identified.

CHESTERTOWN — Timothy Joseph Olinick, 51, Chestertown, on Dec. 16, was charged with driving, attempting to drive while impaired by alcohol; driving, attempting to drive while under the influence of alcohol; and driving at speed exceeding the limit, 48 mph in a 30-mph zone.
He was released on personal recognizance.
Sgt. Nick Watson conducted the traffic stop at 10:01 p.m. on northbound Flatland Road at Vickers Drive.

GALENA — DFC Collin Shockley is investigating a Dec. 17 single-vehicle property damage crash on Griffith Drive.
No injuries were reported.
According to a sheriff’s office news release, James David Esrey of Galena was operating a 2023 Tesla that traveled off the road and struck a tree.
