CHESTERTOWN — Daniel Colby Dowling, 26, Cordova, on Dec. 20, was charged with exceeding the posted maximum speed limit, 38 mph in a posted 25-mph zone; and driving, attempting to drive without required license and authorization.
Cpl. Chris Schwink conducted the traffic stop at 4:01 p.m. on High Street at Dixon Drive.

CHESTERTOWN — Elmer Galindo Diaz Ramirez, 24, Chestertown, on Dec. 23, was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol; driving while under the influence of alcohol per se; and driving while impaired.
He also was charged with negligent driving; failure to drive on the right half of the road when required; exceeding the posted maximum speed limit, 62 mph in a posted 50-mph zone; and failure to control vehicle speed to avoid a collision.
Ramirez was charged following investigation of a crash at 10:57 p.m. in the area of Trafford Drive and Adela Way.
He was released on personal recognizance.
