Kent County Sheriff

ROCK HALL — Jacob Kenneth Tucker, 44, Chestertown, on April 24, was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance that is not cannabis (cocaine); and possession of CDS paraphernalia.

Tucker initially was stopped for exceeding the maximum speed limit, allegedly driving 38 mph in a 25-mph zone.

According to a sheriff’s office news release, a K-9 scanned the vehicle and alerted to the odor of suspected drugs.

Tucker was released after being issued the criminal citations.

Cpl. Parker Hudson conducted the traffic stop at 2:14 p.m. on Tolchester Road at Fithian Drive.

ROCK HALL — De’Airres Tyler Somerville, 35, Rock Hall, Kaitlyn Ann Riley, 18, Rock Hall, and Colleen Marita Coleman, 33, Millington, on April 28, were charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance that is not cannabis (cocaine); and possession of CDS paraphernalia.

They were issued criminal citations and released. 

Somerville also was charged with failure to stop before entering, crossing highway from private road, driveway; failure to display license to uniformed police on demand; driving, attempting to drive without required license and authorization; and driving on suspended license and privilege. 

Somerville initially was stopped for an alleged traffic offense at 10:43 p.m. on state Route 20 at Williams Street. According to a sheriff’s office news release, a K-9 scanned the vehicle and alerted to the odor of suspected drugs. Subsequently, a probable cause search was conducted.

DFC Aquil Freeman conducted the traffic stop.

Somerville was wanted on an outstanding circuit court bench warrant for violation of probation. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.

ROCK HALL — Nicole Lynn Reedy, 38, and Donzelle Lavante Orachis Sisco, 66, both of Rock Hall, on April 29, were charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance that is not cannabis (cocaine); and possession of CDS paraphernalia.

They were released after being issued the criminal citations.

Reedy also was charged with exceeding the maximum speed limit, 110 mph in a 50-mph zone; driving on suspended license and privilege; and negligent driving. 

DFC Colin Rhodes conducted the traffic stop at 1:44 a.m. on Johnson Avenue.

MILLINGTON — Markevus Daquan Pulliam, 31, Wilmington, Del., on April 29, was charged with drug offenses including possession of a narcotic with intent to distribute and firearms offenses including possession of a firearm in a drug trafficking crime.

He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.

Pulliam initially was stopped for exceeding the maximum speed limit, allegedly driving 69 mph in a 55-mph zone.

Following a scan conducted by Cpl. Scott Lockerman and K-9 Khari, a probable cause search was conducted. “The search revealed amounts of suspected cocaine and crack cocaine indicative of an intent to distribute as well as an unregistered illegal handgun,” according to a sheriff’s office news release.

Cpl. Parker Hudson conducted the traffic stop at 10:44 p.m. on state Route 291, east of Morgnec Cutoff Road.
