ROCK HALL — Kathleen Lynn Randolph, 39, Rock Hall, on May 9, was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance that is not cannabis (to wit: cocaine); and possession of CDS paraphernalia.
She was released after signing the citations.
Police initially stopped Randolph for alleged traffic offenses. She was charged with a seat belt violation; driving without current registration plates and validation tabs; failure to display registration card upon demand of a police officer; and driving with an expired registration.
Cpl. Scott Lockerman and K-9 Khari scanned the vehicle. After the dog gave a positive alert to the odor of suspected drugs, a probable cause search was conducted.
Cpl. Lockerman conduced the traffic stop at 10:41 a.m. on Rock Hall Avenue at Judefind Avenue.

CHESTERTOWN — Vincent Michael Drury, 50, Rock Hall, on May 13, was charged with driving, attempting to drive while impaired by a controlled dangerous substance; and driving, attempting to drive while so far impaired by drugs that he cannot drive safely.
Drury was charged following investigation of a crash at 1:47 p.m. on High Street at Kent Street.
It is alleged that Drury, operating a 1989 Ford truck, struck the rear of a 2022 delivery truck that was parked on the shoulder of High Street.
The driver of the delivery truck was identified as Benjamin Doyle of East New Market.
According to a sheriff’s office news release, no injuries were reported.
Drury’s truck was towed from the scene.
Drury also was charged with driving, attempting to drive without required license and authorization; failure to display license and registration card to uniformed police on demand; failure to slow to reasonable, prudent speed while passing a stopped, standing or parked vehicle; failure to control vehicle speed to avoid a collision; failure to obey properly placed traffic control device instructions; reckless driving; and negligent driving.
He was released on personal recognizance.
