Kent County Sheriff

GALENA — Polina Serguevna Tsapienko, 27, Newark, Del., on June 4, was charged with driving while impaired by alcohol; and driving while under the influence of alcohol.

According to a sheriff’s office news release, Tsapienko was released to a sober driver.

DFC Wayne Baker conducted the traffic stop on Main Street.

CHESTERTOWN — Cpl. David Nolan is investigating a single-vehicle crash June 17 on Handy Point Road.

Michelle Wright of Worton was operating a 2018 Nissan Versa that traveled off the road and into an adjacent field.

No injuries were reported.

According to a sheriff’s office news release, the car was towed from the scene.

 

Chestertown Police

CHESTERTOWN — Aaliyah Danasha Graves, 23, Chestertown, on June 7, was charged with driving on suspended license and privilege. 

Officer Ryan Thompson conducted the traffic stop at 8:03 a.m. on East Campus Avenue.

CHESTERTOWN — Leonardo Leon Dominguez, 37, Chestertown, on June 7, was charged with driving without required license and authorization. 

PFC Brandon McGinnis conducted the traffic stop at 5:24 p.m. in the 800-block of Washington Avenue.

CHESTERTOWN — Emily Brooke Davis, 54, Church Hill, on June 7, was charged with driving on suspended license and privilege. 

Officer Travis Burke conducted the traffic stop at 7:55 p.m. on Morgnec Road at Washington Avenue.

CHESTERTOWN — Mark Reece Johnson, 50, Chestertown, on June 7, was charged with failure to equip vehicle with required rear red stop lamp; displaying expired registration plate; knowingly driving uninsured vehicle; unauthorized display and use of registration plates; operating unregistered vehicle; displaying registration plate issued for other vehicle; and driving without current registration plates and validation tabs.

Officer Travis Burke conducted the traffic stop at 11:35 p.m. at the traffic circle on High Street and Morgnec Road.

CHESTERTOWN — Peter Simon Pletzer, 44, Betterton, on June 8, was charged with driving without required license and authorization; driving on suspended license and privilege; driving while license is suspended; and failure to equip vehicle with required rear red stop lamp.

Officer Travis Burke conducted the traffic stop at 1:01 a.m. in the 100-block of Morgnec Road at Washington Avenue.
