CHESTERTOWN — Kortasia Terrel Phillips, 29, Chestertown, on Oct. 6, was charged with displaying expired registration plates; driving without current registration plates and validation tabs; failure to notify the Motor Vehicle Administration of change of address within 30 days; driving on suspended license and privilege; and possession of a suspended license.

Cpl. Chris Schwink conducted the traffic stop at 5:45 p.m. in the 600-block of Washington Avenue.

CHESTERTOWN — Courtney Quincy Crawford-Goldsboro, 35, Chestertown, on Oct. 10, was charged with knowingly driving an uninsured vehicle.

Crawford-Goldsboro and his passenger, identified as Dennis Eugene Black, 43, Chestertown, were charged with possession of non- cannabis, heroin/fentanyl mixture; and possession of drug paraphernalia.

PFC Brandon McGinnis conducted the traffic stop at 11:31 p.m. in the 300-block of Washington Avenue.

CHESTERTOWN — Courtney Quincy Crawford-Goldsboro, 35, Chestertown, on Oct. 12, was charged with knowingly driving an uninsured vehicle.

Lt. Steve Linz conducted the traffic stop at 2:37 p.m. in the 100-block of Cedar Street.

CHESTERTOWN — Cpl. Scott Lockerman is investigating an Oct. 17 crash on Augustine Herman Highway near Rileys Mill Road.

According to a sheriff’s office news release, the driver of a 2013 Dodge Durango struck a deer.

No injuries were reported.

The driver was identified as a 36-year-old female from Chestertown.

The vehicle was towed from the scene.

The incident occurred at 1:10 a.m.

GALENA — DFC Collin  Shockley is investigating an Oct. 21 crash on Scotts Lane that sent one driver to the hospital.

According to a sheriff’s office news release, a U.S. Postal Service vehicle being driven by a 52-year-old female from Dover, Del., was struck in the rear by a Ford sport utility vehicle being operated by a 17-year-old male from Galena.

The driver of the postal vehicle was transported by Emergency Medical Services personnel to an area hospital for treatment of injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening, according to the news release.

The crash was at about 10:20 a.m.
