GALENA — Julio Cesar Hernandez, 31, Elkton, on June 21, was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol; and driving while impaired by alcohol.
He was released to a sober driver after being issued the traffic citations.
According to a sheriff’s office news release, Hernandez was charged following investigation of what originated as a report of a disabled vehicle on state Route 213 near Dogwood Drive at 1:37 a.m.
Hernandez was identified as the driver.
He also was charged with driving, attempting to drive without required license and authorization; operating an unregistered vehicle; displaying, permitting to be displayed registration plate issued for other vehicle/to other person; displaying expired registration plate; driving a vehicle without current registration plates and validation tabs; and knowingly driving an uninsured vehicle.

ROCK HALL — Reginald Andre Sisco, 70, Rock Hall, on June 25, was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance that is not cannabis; and possession of CDS paraphernalia.
He was released on personal recognizance.
Cpl. Parker Hudson conducted a traffic stop of an off-road vehicle on North Main Street.
According to a sheriff’s office news release, Cpl. James Walker of the Chestertown Police Department and his K-9 did a scan of the vehicle, and the dog alerted to the odor of suspected drugs.
