FAIRLEE — Deputy Colin Rhodes investigated an Oct. 24 two-vehicle crash on Fairlee Road between Hanesville Road and Melitota Road.
According to a sheriff’s office news release, Larry Carl Frampton Jr., 51, Worton, was operating a 2001 Ford van that was traveling westbound and crossed the center line, striking the rear driver’s side of a 1994 Kenworth tractor-trailer that was operated by Walter Frank Barnes, 77, Chestertown.
The crash occurred at 4:05 p.m.
Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene, according to the news release.
Frampton was charged with failure to drive on the right half of the roadway when required.
