ROCK HALL — Kyle Kendall Kirby, 36, Chestertown, on Aug. 14, was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol; and driving while impaired by alcohol.
Kirby also was charged with exceeding the maximum posted speed limit, 58 mph in a posted 25-mph zone; failure to obey properly placed traffic control device instructions; and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway when required.
He was released after being issued the citations.
Sgt. Scott Lockerman conducted the traffic stop at 10:24 p.m. on Tolchester Road at Carter Avenue.

WORTON — Cpl. Michael Piasecki is investigating a two-vehicle crash Aug. 18 on Still Pond Neck Road.
According to a sheriff’s office news release, a 2022 Kawasaki motorcycle operated by John Crawford, 60, West Chester, Pa., collided with a 2012 GMC truck operated by William Jones, 59, Worton.
No injuries were reported.
The motorcycle was towed from the scene.
