CHESTERTOWN — Deputy Samuel Manning is investigating a single-vehicle crash Jan. 16 on Bakers Lane. According to a sheriff’s office news release, Stephen Marvel, no age given, of Rock Hall, who was operating a 2014 Subaru, struck a deer.
No injuries were reported.
The vehicle was towed from the scene.

CHESTERTOWN — Tevin Lamont Dodd, 33, Chestertown, on Dec. 28, was charged with failure to display license to uniformed police upon demand; driving with an expired license; driving without required license and authorization; driving while license is suspended; and driving on suspended license and privilege.

CHESTERTOWN — Edward Zachary Jewell, 29, Galena, on Dec. 31, was charged with driving without required license and authorization; driving on suspended license and privilege; and driving while license is suspended.

CHESTERTOWN — Shonteze Lamont Freeman, 51, Worton, on Jan. 3, was charged with driving while impaired by alcohol; and driving while under the influence of alcohol.
He also was charged with failure to drive on the right side of the road when required; driving on the left side of the road in a posted no-passing zone marked by pavement striping; failure to drive right of center; negligent driving; and reckless driving.
Freeman was charged following investigation of a crash at 5:21 p.m. in the 700-block of Washington Avenue.

CHESTERTOWN — Hugo Miranda, 29, Newark, Del., on Jan. 9, was charged with knowingly driving an uninsured vehicle; failure to equip vehicle with required rear red stop lamp visible from a distance of not less than 300 feet; displaying expired registration plate; driving vehicle without registration plates and validation tabs; failure to display license to uniformed police upon demand; failure to display registration card upon demand by police officer; and driving without required license and authorization.

CHESTERTOWN — William Dudley Thompson Jr., 54, no fixed address, on Jan. 16, was charged with driving without required license and authorization; driving on suspended license and privilege; driving while license is suspended; and failure to display license to uniformed police upon demand.
