CHESTERTOWN — Darrius Irving Jones, 23, Worton, on Aug. 15, was served a citation for failure to return to and remain at the scene of an accident.
Officer Pedro Rodriguez investigated the crash in the 800-block of Washington Avenue.

CHESTERTOWN — Heather Ellen Eliza Templeton, 32, Rock Hall, on Aug. 29, was charged with exceeding posted maximum speed limit, 32 mph in a posted 25-mph zone; knowingly driving an uninsured vehicle; driving a vehicle with suspended registration; and driving a vehicle without current registration plates and validations tabs.
PFC Eric Nunez conducted the traffic stop at 11:33 a.m. in the 500-block of S. Cross Street near the armory.

CHESTERTOWN — Ezequiel Ladislao Ventura Mejia, 35, Chestertown, on Aug. 31, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol; driving while impaired by alcohol; and driving under the influence of alcohol per se.
He also was charged with driving without a license, among other traffic offenses.
Cpl. Mike Piasecki conducted the traffic stop on Flatland Road.
According to a sheriff’s office news release, Mejia allegedly performed poorly on standardized field sobriety tests.
