GALENA — Samuel Robert Maniglia, 31, Carneys Point, N.J., on Sept. 19, was charged with driving while impaired by alcohol; and driving while under the influence of alcohol.
Maniglia also was charged with negligent driving; and exceeding the posted maximum speed limit, 102 mph in a posted 50-mph zone.
He was released on personal recognizance.
Sgt. Nick Watson conducted the traffic stop at 10:34 p.m. on Galena Sassafras Road.
Maniglia was charged after he allegedly performed poorly on standardized field sobriety tests.
During the roadside interview with Maniglia, Sgt. Watson detected “indicators of impairment,” according to the news release.
