CHESTERTOWN — Ja’Marcus Miles Downs, 19, Chestertown, on Sept. 8, was charged with driving, attempting to drive without required license and authorization; and failure to return to, remain at the scene of an accident involving attended vehicle damage.
The crash occurred at 10:57 a.m. in the 100-block of Elmer T. Hawkins Drive.

CHESTERTOWN — Hilario Mendez Cruz, 22, Chestertown, on Sept. 28, was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol; driving while impaired by alcohol; failure to display license to uniformed police upon demand; failure to display registration card to uniformed police upon demand; failure to attach vehicle registration plates at front and rear; driving without current registration plates and validation tabs; unauthorized use and display of registration plate; driving without required license and authorization; knowingly driving an uninsured vehicle; operating an unregistered vehicle; displaying registration plate issued for other vehicle, to other person; displaying expired registration plate; and theft, less than $100.
