CHESTERTOWN — Cory Wright Coon, 34, Chestertown, on Oct. 8, was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol; driving while impaired by alcohol; driving while so far impaired that he cannot drive safely; driving while impaired by a controlled dangerous substance; and negligent driving.
PFC Eric Nunez investigated.
According to a CPD news release, PFC Nunez responded for a call of a reckless driver. The driver, subsequently identified as Coon, and the vehicle were located in the 700-block of Washington Avenue.

CHESTERTOWN — Melanie June Francis, 33, Chestertown, on Oct. 9, was charged with driving on suspended license and privilege; driving while license is suspended; failure to display registration card upon demand by a police officer; displaying expired registration plate; and driving a vehicle with suspended registration.
Cpl. Chris Schwink conducted the traffic stop at 1:51 p.m. in the 800-block of High Street.

CHESTERTOWN — Sheldon Walter Murray, 58, Worton, on Oct. 16, was served a district court summons for malicious destruction of property, having a value less than $1,000.
On Oct. 18, Sheldon Walter Abrams, 34, Bear Del., was served a district court summons for second-degree assault; and failure to control vehicle speed to avoid a collision.
The charges stem from an Oct. 11 incident in the area of Washington Avenue and Morgnec Road that was reported as alleged “road rage.” PFC Meera Srinivasan and PFC Travis Burke responded.

CHESTERTOWN — Theodore Aaron Zubrant, 55, Sudlersville, on Oct. 16, was charged with driving a vehicle with suspended registration; failure to display registration card upon demand by a police officer; possession of a controlled dangerous substance that is not cannabis; and possession of CDS paraphernalia.
PFC Travis Burke conducted the traffic stop at 7:44 p.m on Morgnec Road at Hadaway Drive.
