WORTON — The unbeaten Bayside Conference and district champion girls and boys tennis teams of 1994 coached by Holly Bramble and Fred Wyman are among the headliners of this year’s Kent County High School athletic hall of fame induction class.
The other honorees are athletes Dennis Hickman ’93, Michelle Rodney ’98, Brian Fox ’02, Kolyn Kirby ’04 and Rebekah “Bekah” Baker ’12.
The induction ceremony, which is open to the public, is Saturday, Oct. 18 at the high school.
There will be a formal unveiling of the inductees’ plaques to be permanently displayed on the Hall of Fame Wall near the KCHS gym. The actual induction ceremony will follow.
The formal event will start at 1 p.m., to be followed by light hors d’oeuvres at about 2 p.m.
The cost is $10 per person. Tickets can be purchased at the door.
