WORTON — Cloudless blue skies and temperatures in the 60s provided ideal conditions for outdoor sports practices Tuesday, March 11 at Kent County High School, where these varsity baseball hopefuls are setting up a batting turtle — a shell-like backstop that catches missed pitches and foul tips.

Opening Day is Friday, March 21 at home against Washington High School.
KCHS offers baseball, softball, boys and girls lacrosse, boys and girls tennis, and track and field as varsity sports in the spring.
