Radcliffe Creek School hosts free talk on ADHD and anxiety

CHESTERTOWN — Radcliffe Creek School will host “A Talk on ADHD and Anxiety,” featuring David Palmiter, Ph.D., on Wednesday, March 26.

The event is free and open to the public. It begins at 5 p.m.

Radcliffe Creek School, a K-8 private school in Chestertown that focuses on students with learning differences, is located at 201 Talbot Blvd.

Palmiter is a board-certified clinical psychologist with more than 25 years of experience in evaluating, treating and advocating for people diagnosed with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder.

He serves as the clinical director of The Chesapeake Center in Bethesda, which offers neuropsychological assessments, ADHD counseling, and resources for families, and has authored more than three dozen publications on ADHD and related issues.

A news release states, “Known for his engaging and interactive presentation style, Dr. Palmiter often incorporates humor, storytelling, and magic in his lectures to make complex topics accessible and engaging for attendees.”

He has a particular interest in working with families that are impacted by ADHD, and he is passionate about using evidence-based and time-efficient strategies for promoting resilience and happiness across the lifespan.
