Kent County Public Schools has announced that there will be a two-hour delay on Monday morning, Jan. 22 to allow time to evaluate road conditions.

The middle school and high school will open at 9:25 a.m., and the three elementary schools will open at 10:35 a.m.

Kent County’s public schools were closed on Tuesday, Jan. 16 and Friday, Jan. 19 due to the winter storm, and KCPS has now used the three inclement weather days — what have traditionally been called Snow Days — built into the 2023-24 academic calendar.
