Chestertown Police

THEFT. Melvin Jerome Wilson Jr., 44, Chestertown, on July 3, was charged with theft, $100 to less than $1,500; issue a false document; forgery of a public document; and passing a forged public document. The offenses are alleged to have occurred in the 200-block of High Street. PFC Eric Nunez investigated.

According to a CPD news release, during the investigation into the reported theft, police learned that the Kent County Sheriff’s Office had an outstanding bench warrant for Wilson for failure to comply. He was released after posting $5,000 unsecured personal bond.

TRESPASS. Roshina Bianca Warner, 32, Chestertown, and Zachary Michael Geibel, 24, Magnolia, Del., on July 8, were served citations for trespassing on posted property. They were released on personal recognizance.

TRESPASS. Jennifer Mae Ingledue, 34, Rock Hall, on July 11, was charged with trespassing on private property. The offense is alleged to have occurred in the 700-block of Washington Avenue. Officer Ryan Thompson investigated.

THEFT. Terone Ronell Turner, 50, Chestertown, on July 11, was served a summons for theft, $100 to less than $1,500; credit card, steal another’s; and credit card charge, $100 to less than $1,500. He was released on personal recognizance. The offenses are alleged to have occurred Feb. 10.

FALSE STATEMENT. Melvin Jerome Wilson Jr., 44, Chestertown, on July 12, was served a citation for making a false statement to a police officer. The offense is alleged to have occurred in the 200-block of Cannon Street. PFC Eric Nunez investigated.

 

Kent County Sheriff

PROBATION. Reginald Andre Sisco, 71, Rock Hall, on July 8, was served a district court bench warrant for violation of probation. He initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.

ASSAULT. Deputy Shane Steppe is investigating a reported assault July 9 in the 11000-block of Locust Grove Road, near Kennedyville. According to a sheriff’s office news release, the complainant reported being assaulted by a known suspect.

FTA. Jason Nathaniel Seago, 40, Chestertown, on July 9, was served a circuit court body attachment for failure to appear in court. Bond initially was set at $1,000.

FTA. Jessica Kristen Conant, 44, Chestertown, on July 12, was served a circuit court body attachment for failure to appear in court. She initially was held in the Kent County Detention Center without bond.

THEFT. Cpl. Parker Hudson is investigating a July 13 reported theft of a “large amount of U.S. currency” from a vehicle in the 24000-block of Lambs Meadow Road, Worton.
